BEN!

"This fall Ben (a.k.a. Gentle Ben) came to stay with us as a permanent foster at 13 years of age . He is a joy to have around! Ben is deaf and is now learning hand signals; he now knows the "come" command and we are working on "sit". Ben's first few days were a bit challenge for all of us as our two other springer's, Darcy & Hannah, had to get used to another springer being around, we had to get used to having a dog with a bit of a disability and Ben had to get used to his new home and everything else that came with it .  But it didn't take long for our Ole' Ben to feel very comfortable with his new surroundings-  he now voices his opinion when he wants something ( like if he needs outside), he'll bark to let us know it is an emergency that can't wait... like, "gotta go people!"  Also, Ben just absolutely loves to play ball and chases after Darcy and Hannah around the yard... he could do this for hours! Now, keep in mind, he is much slower than the other two due to his age but that certainly doesn't stop him from having fun!  

We are so glad that Ben has come to stay with us, that this is now his forever home. As we said before, and will say agan ,  Benjamin is such a Joy to have around, he's as cute as a button and has a  personality that everyone simply loves."
