*This form is being submitted for approval to become a foster home for SRECC. It should be understood by the applicant that SRECC reserves the right to deny an application to foster and that by submitting this application you are giving permission to SRECC to contact your references, including your vet and landlord, to gain information as to the suitability of you and your home for the placement of a foster Springer. It should also be understood that prior to approval of this application a SRECC volunteer member will do a home visit where possible. Submission of this application DOES NOT guarantee your approval to become a foster home for SRECC. If you are approved as a foster family, it is expected that you will join the SRECC membership and that there is to be frequent and regular contact with SRECC coordinators to keep them informed of the springers condition and care. SRECC reserves the right to take the foster springer from your keep at any time. Fostering a springer for SRECC gives you no legal claim or rights to the dog, nor does it guarantee that you will be granted the right or privilege of adopting the springer in your care, though we do try to offer the opportunity of first refusal to a foster home at time of adoption if the foster home is an appropriate match for the springer. Fostering for SRECC means that you will be the primary caregiver for a rescued springer until he or she is adopted. The responsibility to provide for the springers well being, care, rehabilitation and recovery lies in your hands. We ask that, with our support, you be both mindful and worthy of such an undertaking and that you do your very best to ensure that the springer is given the love and attention, training and care that he or she will need to become a good member of a future family and of the community. If you agree to the terms and conditions set forth in this application, please submit this form.
I agree if approved to foster for SRECC and abide by the agreements set forth in the above mentioned form.
